Powder Metallurgy parts maker AMES, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, has been recognised by Ford for achieving “Zero QR and Zero Warranty Claims in the Year 2024” for supply to Ford India’s Sanand Engine Plant in Gujarat.

This milestone is said to reflect the company’s commitment to operational excellence, superior quality and customer satisfaction. The team’s continuous focus on improvement has been instrumental in achieving these results, AMES stated.

AMES operates production centres in Spain, Hungary, the USA and China, supported by a worldwide sales and technical support network serving over 1,000 customers across more than 60 countries. The company’s main products include sintered structural steel components, iron-based soft magnetic sintered parts, self-lubricating sintered bearings made from bronze and iron alloys, metallic filters and membranes manufactured from stainless steel and bronze, and porous titanium biomedical implants.
