A workshop focusing on the use of ceramics, carbides and diamonds in engineering applications has been organised by the BMR Chapter of The Indian Ceramic Society, the Powder Metallurgy Association of India (PMAI) and the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP). Scheduled for 8-10 December 2011, the workshop will take place at the College of Engineering, Pune, Maharashtra, India.

“Ceramics, Carbides and Diamonds: A Workshop on Engineering Applications (CCD-11)” will cover a broad spectrum of topics ranging from well established industrial practices to newly evolved and upcoming areas in the field of ceramics, carbides and diamonds.

Speakers drawn from academia, industry, government and research organisations will share their expertise in their respective field. This update on the professional knowledge, current industrial practices, and recent advances is targeted at practicing engineers, professionals, researchers and industrial personnel.
