China’s Powder Metallurgy part industry maintains growth

After recording a 24.3% increase in Powder Metal part production to 40,088 tonnes in the first quarter of 2011 compared with the same quarter in 2010, the China Machinery Powder Metallurgy Association (CMPMA) reports that the upward momentum was maintained in the second quarter of 2011.
PM part production by the reporting Chinese PM producers totalled 45,892 tonnes, an increase of 16.8% on the same period in 2010. The number of employees in this rapidly growing sector now stands at 17,332 people.
