Somary, who previously served as CEO of Ipsen USA from 2009 to 2017, has been working closely with McKenna over the past several weeks to ensure a smooth transition for employees and customers. By stepping in to oversee the US organisation, he is expected to provide consistency and alignment with Ipsen’s global strategy.

“We regret that Patrick is leaving but look to leverage a flatter organisational structure to speed up innovation and customer responsiveness,” Somary continued. “I look forward to the inspiring and exciting days ahead, working with the best team in the industry.”
