The Powder Metallurgy Association of India (PMAI) is holding its Introduction to Powder Metallurgy Short Course (PMSC14) from December 4-6, 2014 Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. The course is scheduled to run concurrently with the ASM International conference on Materials Engineering Technology & Heat Treatment Conference and Exhibition, allowing delegates to attend sessions in both conferences.

PMSC14 offers an intensive programme of sessions during all three days of the course. It provides an excellent platform to introduce participants to the vast portfolio of PM technologies that can be harnessed by the industry with special focus on niche products and application areas.

The PMAI states that participants who are involved in PM will benefit from a deeper understanding of their activities and get an insight to recent advancements in the science and practice of PM. Participants will be tested for the knowledge acquired and will be issued with a certificate from the association. Participation is restricted to a maximum of 60 people.
