FRITSCH GmbH has announced the introduction of a new planetary mill system capable of ultrafine grinding in the nano range.

The new FRITSCH premium line planetary mill

The new “FRITSCH premium line” can achieve rotation speeds of up to 1100 rpm and acceleration of 95 times the force of gravity. The resulting energy application is roughly 150% greater than classic planetary mills.

The mill includes a new grinding bowl locking-system where the grinding bowls are closed gas-tight with one motion and with a second motion are safely locked in the mill.  The mill automatically detects the inserted grinding bowls via a special RFID chip, then optimises the rotation speed and prevents impermissible grinding settings.

Grinding bowls and balls are available in different sizes and an extensive range of accessories are available to ensure optimal grinding for each application.
