Plansee USA, Franklin, Massachusetts, USA has inaugurated its new state-of-the-art Manufacturing Training Center. The recent investment into the facility was made in an effort to support the CNC machining capabilities of the company’s current employee group, as well as tackling the tight labour market for a skilled trade.

“Plansee as technological leader in high precision machining innovates constantly in order to stay competitive in particular as we are aiming for domestic growth”, says Peter Aldrian, President & CEO of Plansee USA. “To overcome challenges in regard to the technological, demographic, and the economic climate shifts, we at Plansee USA are building our own talent pool by introducing the newly created training centre for CNC Machinists. The decision at Plansee USA to invest into an inhouse training facility we strive for continuous development of our workforce and to make us fit for the future.”

Training at the facility is expected to have a particular focus on manufacturing theory alongside hands-on manual lathe/milling CNC machining.
