Solar Atmospheres, Southeast, the company’s newest facility located in Greenville, South Carolina, USA, has announced its official opening. The company brought its first furnace online in May 2015 and stated that other furnaces will continue to be delivered and brought online over the summer months.

The 5,300 m2 facility will primarily assist the aerospace, titanium and superalloys markets and will include a variety of vacuum furnaces from lab-sized to over 7 m long.

“Full production capability will have us prepared to tackle everything from small lots to 24 foot long product in a vacuum atmosphere, as well as providing services ranging from vacuum hardening and annealing to low pressure carburizing and furnace brazing,” stated Steve Prout, President of Solar Atmospheres, Southeast.
