The 2014 Materials Research Exchange, organised by the UK’s Materials Knowledge Transfer Network (Materials KTN), will take place February 25 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, UK. The event is aimed at showcasing the wide variety and depth of UK materials research, whilst promoting closer collaboration between industry and materials research.

The free event will feature an exhibition displaying materials research from the UK universities and research organisations, along with numerous talks, seminars and workshops.

“It’s rare that the opportunity arises to see the very best UK materials research all in one place – and even rarer for such an opportunity to be free. But the Materials KTN is offering just this at its flagship event: the Materials Research Exchange. So if your business relies on materials-based technology this opportunity is not to be missed,” stated Rob Mills, Material KTN Communications Coordinator

Visitors are invited from industry and academia from the UK and overseas. There is also the opportunity for universities to network across boundaries with academics in different material disciplines.
